Single women buy homes in greater numbers than single men. I wanted to explore why more women are dropping the idea of waiting for marriage before they buy, why they find real estate such an attractive investment, and whether being a home owner makes them think differently about relationships. This is the first piece I ever did that focused on women. I loved doing it. It really got me thinking about women's relationship with money, and how different their motivations often are from men's.
